About Us

McLaggan Smith Mugs is a family business operating in Jamestown, a couple of miles from the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond in the West of Scotland. Established by Wally Smith in 1974, the company is now run by his wife Camille and daughter Polly.

We have 25 fantastic employees working hard to produce our designs on stock mugs and special commissions for art galleries, museums, schools, charities and businesses large and small. All our designs are printed, hand applied and fired in the UK. Every week we dispatch mugs throughout the UK, Europe and as far afield as Australia and Japan.

We strive to provide our customers with an efficient service selling good quality mugs at competitive prices. Our broad range offers a mug for everyone and we are delighted to be working with some of the nation's most popular designers: Sir Quentin Blake, Orla Kiely, Roderick Field, Simon Drew, Edward Monkton, Madeleine Floyd and Brora, to name just a few. Many of the designers we work with have their own range of products including cards, tea towels, handbags, tee shirts etc. Please visit their individual websites for further details.

All our mugs are microwave safe. We recommend that our mugs are washed by hand with only occasional dishwasher use.
