Presents for grandsons

One of my young grandsons loves maps and trying to find countries on a globe/map so I think it’s a perfect present for him. As he and his parents are currently living and working in China I think he will be able to identify the area where they live on this mug. It’s also a perfect size for small hands (he’s 7).
I also bought my other grandson (8 years) the mug with the solar system on it, he wants to be an Astrophysicist!!! Again these small mugs are a perfect size for children of this age and this old Granny loves the detail on these mugs. My small boys have yet to see these mugs so fingers crossed!

Purchased as a Christmas present for my daughter who has always converted mine, she is delighted to have 4 large sized beautiful to handle Mclaggan mugs.

World Map Mug

The World Map mug is another very good purchase from Mclaggan. It is well designed, beautifully made and it is an excellent reminder as to where the larger countries of the world are situated (and a prompt to further investigation).

Gets everyone interested at the family breakfast table

This is a replacement for the fist mug I bought 8 years ago. This mug has prompted more discussion about geography at the family breakfast table than anything else. It also inspires a little competition between mummy and daddy (me) on who has visited the most places as we're both well travelled. My kids now have a really good appreciation of the world, geography, capitals and more importantly how very well travelled and informed their parents are ;-)
